Sinagua Malt

Barley is a type of grass where the seeds are turned to malt to serve as the foundation of beer flavor. But, it can be so much more. In a water-starved and culturally sensitive region, my next guest creates world-class malt that contributes solutions to both, as well as delicious beer.

Beer is more than the sum of its ingredients. There’s a lot we can learn about malt and the cultures and growers that lie beyond. My goal is not to tell you the whole story, but that there is a story and inspire you to pursue it further. Good Ingredients are just the beginning.
