Have you ever heard the phrase, “the giants upon whose shoulders we now stand?” In terms of beer history, these are all the brewers and beer professionals that came before us, without which we wouldn’t have the beer we now enjoy. My next guest is a beer historian who uncovers and tells their stories. This helps us understand the path behind us as we pave the way forward.
Sometimes history seems like a subject relegated to boring school classrooms. I would argue the opposite. History is an account of who we are as a people and how we got where we are now. Thank you to Ron Pattinson for doing the work of digging up these stories and bringing former beer recipes back to life.
